Description
With its natural look and classic herringbone pattern, the ivory Herringbone Carpet will enhance your décor. It is handwoven of 100% viscose, a natural synthetic fibre. Viscose carpets have a silky glamour when exposed to light. Therefore, viscose is used as a convenient replacement for silk. It’s easy to maintain and particularly suitable for people that are allergic to animal hair.

HOW TO CARE FOR WOOL AND VISCOSE CARPETS

A natural material, wool is a popular choice for carpets. Wool retains warmth, absorbs sound, and is both environmentally-friendly and durable. Viscose is known for its luxurious silky look and superior softness. By learning how to clean wool and viscose blends, you'll keep your carpet looking beautiful longer.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

Vacuum regularly at a low vacuum setting. Do not pull loose ends; instead, trim them with scissors. Use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture.

To remove a spot created by spilled food or drinks, start by scraping up as much of the substance as you can with a plastic spoon: scrape towards the middle of the spill to keep the spot as small as possible. Do not dry the stain completely or it may set.

For further cleaning, use a premium carpet shampoo. Use the product on a small, inconspicuous part of the rug first to ensure the carpet is colorfast. Avoid overwetting while cleaning. Open windows and ventilate the room to speed up the drying process.

For periodic cleaning, we recommend using a professional carpet cleaner.

Rotate or reposition your carpet every two months to keep its surface even and increase its longevity. Shedding is normal during the initial period of use. This will subside over time.

When storing your carpet, start by rolling its top inwards and then wrap it with a protective cloth. Avoid exposure to sharp objects, hot surfaces, and open fireplaces.
